Bracket Changes

  • New Teams: 12 seed Texas Tech, 13 seed East Tennessee State, 14 seeds UNC Ashville and Ohio, 15 seeds Boston U and Georgia Southern, 16 seeds Morgan State, Fairleigh Dickson, Rider, CS Northridge, and New Orleans.
  • Kentucky and UCLA now 1 seeds again, Zaga and Baylor now 2 seeds.
  • Hot FSU and West Virginia are now 2 seeds after huge wins for both of them.
  • Duke and UNC are both now 3 seeds after bad weeks for both schools.
  • Oregon is still sitting as a scary 4 seed playing very good basketball.
  • Minnesota even with a bad loss to MSU snuck their way to a 6 seed.
  • SMU is slowly creeping up the seed lines, but the day after this bracket came out they lost to 5 seed Cincy for the lead of the American Athletic Conference.
  • MSU is safe from the bubble again as an 8 seed.
  • Dayton is still a 9 seed after a bad loss to Umass who could sneak their way in, but are too inconsistent.
  • Wichita State is moving closer and closer to the bubble some how, now at a 10 seed.
  • The two play in games are 11 seed Illinois vs Middle Tennessee who are not an auto bid because 13 seed Marshall is, but Middle Tennessee beat Marshall Thursday night. Also, the 12 seed play in game is between Miami and Texas Tech.
  • UNCW is still an 11 seed.
  • Oakland, Vermont, and Boise State round out the 12 seeds. I still cannot see Vermont as a 12 seed.
  • 13-16 seeds are still the same except for the new teams above.
