1. Wichita State(24-4)- The Shockers are coming off a huge 41 point win over Illinois State to regain the top sleeper team spot and top spot in the Missouri Valley. If they stay within seeds 7-10 then 1 and 2 seeds should be scared to see them in their region.
  2. Middle Tennessee(23-4)- Middle Tennessee dropped their first game in conference to UTEP. It was a pretty bad loss, but the Blue Raiders still look very strong and could even get an at large bid without winning the Conference USA Tournament.
  3. Illinois State(22-5)- Fell to Wichita State in a tough game so they dropped to #3 on this list. They are on the bubble so an at large is not out of reach quite yet, but they have to make it to the Missouri Valley Championship for a chance.
  4. Vermont(24-5)- Leader of the American East Conference and are a 12 seed in Joe Lunardis Bracketology. Vermont is undefeated still in conference and are getting stronger.
  5. Belmont(19-5)-Belmont out of the Ohio Valley are undefeated in conference, and are looking fantastic. They play with a very unique style and work around their leader Evan Bradds. Belmont has a lot of potential if they can make the tournament as I compare them to Stephan F Austin last year.
  6. New Mexico State(22-4)- This team has been sneaky good, but in an easy conference, they have good non conference wins against Arizona State and New Mexico, but also fell to New Mexico and Colorado State. They just dropped their first conference game to CSU Bakersfield in an ugly game, but I still trust the Aggies of New Mex State.
  7. Akron(22-4)- The Zips suffered their first conference loss to a very good Ohio team, so we will see how the rest of their season plays out as well.
  8. Princeton(15-6)- Undefeated in Ivy League play Princeton looks to remain undefeated when they play in what looks to be their final test of the season tonight against biggest contender in the IVY the Yale Bulldogs.
  9. UNCW(22-4)- The Seahawks are still a 12 seed as well in Joe Lunardis Bracketology, but they are hard to trust right now. We will see how they end the season.
  10. UNC Central(17-6)- This team is sitting at a 16 seed and leader of the MEAC. I think if this team stays at a 16 seed they could knock off a team like Baylor or Gonzaga if they remain 1 seeds. In the non conference NC Central fell to Ohio State by just 9, LSU by 4, East Carolina by 7 and Marshall by 11. One bad loss came to Coastal Carolina by 3 and they dropped one in conference game by 1 point to a terrible Delaware State team. However, they beat Missouri by 10 in a game they dominated. For a team in the MEAC their resume looks great.
