Notes

Alabama is the unanimous #1 after a big win in the new Mercedes Benz Stadium. The Tide dominated on both sides of the ball, but showed us that their offense is stronger than ever.

Clemson moves up to #3 and we learned that just because DeSean Watson is gone does not mean that Clemson is going to plummet. True freshman Kelly Bryant stepped up to the plate and looked like he could lead Clemson to a playoff appearance especially now with DeAndre Francois season ending injury in Week 1 for Florida State.

#6 USC dropped two spots after struggling to beat Western Michigan. They got passed up by Penn State and Oklahoma.

Michigan took out  now #22 Florida and moved up to #8 which was well deserving for them after their defense looked fantastic and their offense showed promise even though they were young.

#11 Oklahoma State was the team to fall out of the Top 10 to make room for Michigan even though they dominated Tulsa in their opening game.

#15 Georgia lost their starting quarterback, but Bulldog fans are not panicking. Jake Fromm the back up is a true freshman who ranked as a top 5 quarterback in the recruiting class last year,  he has the skill to lead the Bulldogs. Fromm will be tested next week by newly ranked team, #24 Notre Dame.

#18 Vtech is fresh off their huge opening day win over West Virginia. The Hokies all around looked great, and hope to win the ACC Coastal Divsion this year, but will have to beat out #16 Miami.

Our other newly ranked team this week is #23 TCU. They play in their annual home in home game against Arkansas this week, so we will learn more about this Horned Frogs team.
